SpecTech, Inc. is a product development company incorporated in 1993 and
located in Minneapolis Minnesota.
While many of the products designed by founder Mike Kasbohm reside in the product
offerings of the companies he served, he has introduced a variety of his own. Kasbohm
describes these proprietary products as simple yet practical products that are the result
of the need for a solution to problems faced in everyday life.
Some of these proprietary products are now being marketed under the SpecTech, Inc.
brand as well as being licensed to others who are marketing them under their respective
labels.
His products range from time and money saving devices like the Trash Bag Cinch - used widely in industrial applications for Janitorial
Supplies & Services industries, and released in 2009 the new generation of Cinch products, to components designed for security and
retail delivery systems in the banking industry. In 2008 SpecTech, Inc. entered
into the Sporting Goods market with the Magnet Gun Caddy.
Since it's inception in 1993, Kasbohm has managed all phases of new product development - from
developing prototypes, designing packaging, to sourcing and managing
the outsource manufacturing of his ideas.
His
experience and creativity allows him to help
other
individuals or
provide larger companies with an alternative to
the high cost of funding R & D of new products
in-house.
